Easy going, laid back and helpful answering musical instrument questions. In lieu of the epidemic wish they'd consider having a community musicians board.. lessons or notices of meetups posted.

Fantastic locally owned and operated music shop. Mr. Amory is kind and very helpful. He installed a button on my tenor ukulele and sold me a gig bag and strap for a very reasonable price. Go here!

Jeff at Amory Music has been good to me, my family and our church for years. He has done so much for us over the years that I cannot even name or remember everything he did for us in the past. Recently, I called him about replacing some strings on the bass guitar that my uncle has been playing for years and my brother recently started playing. He quoted us a nice price, installed the strings and did some cleaning on/of the bass guitar. My brother said the strings are nice and tight and he can tell the difference between the strings that Jeff installed on the bass guitar and the strings that have been on the guitar for years. Thanks Jeff and thank you Amory Music! Oh we purchased a drum set and keyboard Amp, harmonicas and more for our church. We rented and or purchased trumpets and saxophones when my brother and I were in school.

I went in last week looking to buy an acoustic guitar. I’m in my mid-20s and trying to teach myself in my free time. I didn’t need anything fancy, new or used would be fine, just a basic guitar to start learning with. The first time I went in, there were only two guitars on the wall that sat under 200. That was pretty much as high as I was willing to go. When I told Jeff what I was looking for, he told me that he just recently got a bunch of new guitars that he hadn’t priced out yet, but he was sure he could find me something great if I gave him a few days to go through his new inventory. I kept checking in every couple days and after 6 days, Jeff really came through. He showed me this incredible Crafter guitar with a built-in electric tuner and a jack for extra amplification and everything. It played really well and I thought for sure it was out of my price range by a mile, but he was able to give me an amazing price that sat right where I needed, and he even threw in a bag for it and made some modifications to the guitar such as putting on strap pins for me. He finished the modifications after closing time, but since he knew how excited I was, he called me and let me come pick it up that same night so I could get to playing right away. I had to wait just a little bit to get what I was looking for, but it was well worth the wait. Jeff is a super friendly guy and really knows his stuff. He will work with you and your price range because he genuinely wants to see people learn and have fun with the instruments he sells. This small shop is a really great one! I’ll be going back for any needs I have while I’m living in the area!

I dropped an instrument off three weeks before school. I did this knowing how it gets very busy at that store and spoke with the owner about how good my timing was. Those were his words not mine. now 2 weeks after school is open I still don't have the instrument and had to collect it and its condition that it was dropped off in. So I'm disappointed and I lost use of the instrument for 5 weeks.I even offered to leave it if they could promise me a pick-up date in the future which they wouldn't do.
