Anne and Bill are great hosts. I felt like visiting friends, not somebody I just met. We had some minor trouble with our bikes and Bill was super helpful to get the problems fixed. The house is also special, a huge mansion, tastefully renovated and decorated. We stayed in the lakefront room, had a very comfortable large bed with nice linens and enjoyed the ensuite shower and separate washroom very much. There is a pantry where there is coffee, water, a fridge with lemonade, yogurt and other goodies available to the guests. After a good night sleep, came the icing on the cake, the breakfast. Fresh fruit, juice, coffee of course or tea, croissant, jam, butter and a freshly cooked dish with eggs, cheese and veggies. All this served on the large covered verandah with the gorgeous view of the lake. We would have loved to stay an extra night but previous commitments spoke against that.

It's been a week since we stayed 3 nights with Bill and Ann. Their home, our room and their conversations were as good as it gets. We relaxed, visited some places on the lake with our boat and took the bikes for a ride that they provided. We look forward to staying with them again. This B&B is a treasure!!! Anne and Bill are some of the MOST friendly people we've ever met. They make a super breakfast each morning and greet you throughout the day. They have a pontoon boat and will take you to a beach. I cannot wait to go back!!!

My wife and I spent a couple of days in Au Bord du Lac. Hosts Anne and Bill treated us like family. The room was in perfect condition, very clean, incredibly comfortable and decorated as if we were living in the 1940. And about the breakfast... oh boy, I suggested to Anne that she should open her own restaurant because it was the most delicious breakfast I had in years! Definitely a place to visit if you want to detox from city life to just read a book by the lake. Thanks Anne and Bill.
