My 10 y/o corgi had been experiencing liver issues. Setup an emergency appointment with Boston West. They were extremely kind and understanding and took me right in. Called back quickly with what needed to be done. The needed tests they couldn't perform for a day and were concerned for my dog, referring me to another hospital who could do it faster. They didn't even charge me for the emergency visit and couldn't be nicer. Highly recommend.

We have always received exceptional care here. Whether it be surgery for one pet or having to say goodbye to our other beloved pet we were treated with kindness and empathy. Highly recommend. We feel so lucky to live so close to Boston West!

Pay first or pet die part 2 did i mention that i beg for help and my dog die on my wAy home? The Dr knew but like i said no money no help... hearless and social media are getting ready to know the true... just one shot was need it to safe her life and your Dr just offer 3 choice pay the money, give the dog away or put it down. I brought my dog Apollo to Boston West for his TPLO surgery a few months ago. Dr. Alsup & Veterinary Technician Joelle were amazing. I got frequent updates on his status throughout his time at the hospital. (Unfortunately) A few days ago I had to bring my cat Sabrina in on an emergency basis. She ended up being very sick. The staff went above and beyond to address my concerns, answer any questions I had and give her the love and care she needed during her final hours. I will be forever grateful that such a strong, dedicated team has been able to help my pets. Thank you Boston West staff for all you do.

Brought our cat here after finding her in distress and were given a poor prognosis. We decided to euthanize. When the time came to actually put her to sleep the doctor did not ask if my mom wanted to be there or if she wanted her cat to be euthanized in the back, she did not go over the process at all, so we had no warning as to what would happen- no warning that she would give out one last meow and shudder because she was confused and didn’t know what was going on (she was not sedated at the time she was euthanized and was fully awake and alert), no warning that bloody fluid would start leaking from her mouth because she was in heart failure- both very traumatic things to witness if you were no forewarned about them. The doctor was distant, un empathetic, and unprofessional. If you want any sort of peace of mind when dealing with a devastating situation, do not bring your pets here
