If I could leave zero Stars I would. My mother-in-law passed away over a month ago and every time me or my husband attempt to reach this funeral home we're told that \they need to speak to the director\ in regards to us picking up her ashes. It's insane during a grieving process that you have to hunt down a funeral home to get somebody's ashes...but I'm sure if it wasn't paid in full they would be calling me left and right for some money absolutely disgusting do not recommend at all.

One of the best gifts I ever received was learning about Chatman Harris Funeral Home from a friend after his sister died. Quiana Harris provides highly personalized assistance, tremendous professionalism and creativity, and genuine kindness and support through every step of the very difficult road of saying goodbye to a loved one. Quiana Harris has wide-ranging experience in planning all kinds of events, as well as great connections, and she helped me design a memorial service for my Uncle that was in our price range and absolutely exquisite. The mortuary services were excellent, and carried out with great sensitivity to our wishes. Chatman Harris provided such wonderful service, and took so much of the burden off of my shoulders. The company is genuinely concerned about helping people. Do yourself a favor and forget about the big-name mortuary/funeral companies in town--all overpriced rackets. Chatman Harris operates the way things should be: with honesty and sincere care for their clients. Thanks to Quiana and Cullen for everything!

I was VERY DISAPPOINTED with Chatman Harris on Reisterstown Rd, My father passed 2 months ago and it was to be a cremation following the service. Which my father had on to much make-up he looked like he had tanned on a summer day. But the cremation went as planned However I had to Call them (Not them calling us) to find out had my father's ashes been return for us to take home. Sadly he was but NOT the Urn someone was to be in contact with us. \ Its going to be a little longer because the Urn hadn't been engraved\ Ok so now he's Not home for thanksgiving. Again No One calls we call them to find out whats happening. (Why aren't they calling us)... Another issue arises now the Urn we selected can not be engraved but its listed in their book to do so. Its Now Pass Christmas 2020' My father is NOT home with us still ...NO Communication No Follow through....Unless you reach out to them and stay on them the situations aren't resolved. No one should have to continue to grieve and have a funeral home Not stay in contact with you. Yet they say they care really?? It shouldn't be this way... I felt let down by them and I let my father down

Horrible service. Extremely encompassionate. I wouldn't recommend this establishment to anyone seeking service for a large person. I paid 2,000 for a simple cremation without a service or wake.
