Extremely rude and unprofessional agents, especially the young agent that handles passports. She looks at you like you are making nonsense. Does not want to answer questions. Doesn't tell you when things are done but rather just sits there and stares at you to leave. How awful, shameful these are the people that represents Korea doing work for the government. They apparently don't realize that they are out here to help their own citizens and acts like they're the rulers. Terrible service.

The worst place ever. They don’t make it easy to make an appointment and they don’t answer calls on purpose (I went and the lady deliberately said they don’t answer calls). Staff is extremely rude every time I’ve been and they close for any tiny reason they can find. What place closes for lunch? Not even a mom and pop restaurant closes for an hour in the middle of the day. They think they can just do whatever they want with no consequences. Absolutely miserable place and people.

I was confused about the information on online so I tried to call and ask. The only answers I got was you should look into the website like she was saying you should know it better. I thought calling would give me some informations but no it was not informative whatsoever. Whoever received my call was very rude as well.

Great system during this pandemic. My appointment was very quick and on time. The person who helped me was friendly but not everyone seemed to be friendly. Also, they highly recommend making an appointment online, but I had a hard time with it...

Directions from the consulate staff themselves is difficult to obtain. Tried by phone but really couldn't get anything clearly. Told me I needed \medical records\. Found out on the fly when I traveled 3 and a half hours to get the visa. Elevators are right after one of the entrances. Something like 6 in a little hallway. (I remember some green fuzzy stuff on the wall next to them. Maybe grass or something?) When you get off on 21st(?) Floor, go to wood doors and press button. I think the door says pull but you actually push. Get some hand sanitizer and check in with receptionist. (Its been a month and I'm jet lagged.) I'm pretty sure you should wear a mask. Be patient and respectful as this is not American culture. Went for visa. Didn't know what forms to give so I just gave all that I had found online. Found out I needed a note from doctor saying free from specific symptoms of covid-19. Ran to urgent care to get exam and letter. Also, must have priority mail, self addressed, stamped envelope to get visa & passport in the mail if you can't physically return to the consulate.
