We came to the office on a whim after having our oldest. We’ve been seeing Dr. Farias off and on since, but we always come back and I refuse to go anywhere else. The office staff have always been so kind and helpful, especially during the pandemic. We now have a new addition to our family and I never worry about bringing him into the office. Thank you for all of the amazing work y’all have done!

I used to love Cook's Children and Dr. Fariahs. I am a school teacher, and we have options to either teach in person or virtual (once kids are allowed back at school). To teach virtually we need to be at risk or have family that is at risk. My son is 2 and has had upper respiratory issues and sinus issues his whole life. He has a breathing machine for when he gets out of breath and had to go to the ER because of a chest infection. I left a voicemail with the nurse explaining my situation. She called me back to tell me that Dr. Fariahs had reviewed my son's chart and didn't find him at risk. I was told that he needed to follow the CDC guidelines of wearing a mask and staying 6 feet from others. He is TWO YEARS OLD!! How can he be expected to wear a mask all day at daycare, stay 6 feet away from other children, and only play with a toy that has been assigned to him? I could not BELIEVE that a pediatrician would be so reckless with a young child. I thought that a pediatrician would err on the side of caution. Apparently that is not the case AT ALL! I will be looking for a pediatrician that takes this pandemic seriously and cares about the safety of children.

We love Dr. Jain! She's and her staff are fantastic with our son and are very patient with us (we're first time parents so we have a LOT of questions and concerns). I like that the clinic has separate waiting areas for sick and well kids, though you have to walk through the sick area to check in and get to the well area. Wait times can be a little long, but that seems to be the case with any doctor.

Dr. Jain is amazing with my son. She's great. Appointments are always on time. Nurses are fantastic. While the nurses on staff are friendly and engaging with my son, the office staff is not the most accommodating. They quote a 72 hour wait time for paperwork to be filled and returned, however, in actuality its more like 5-7 business days, depending on whether or not the 3rd party receiver that you send the fax to, has actually sent the paperwork to the office. Sometimes popping by the office during your business hours isn't the most convenient. Can't even begin to talk about getting access to the patient portal, that's like an act of parliament. While back to school is a busy time for everyone, parent, student, teacher and pediatrician, alike, when your child has a nut allergy that results in anaphylaxis, you would think they would be a little more mindful. Rather the staff just asks, \who did you speak to?\ What does that matter? You pushing off blame on one of your coworkers, does nothing to assist me, the customer, with my situation. Perhaps, some training with the office staff on how to have more empathy towards your customers needs and problem resolution, rather than pushing off blame on someone else. Be transparent with your clients, they are still paying for a service and regardless of how amazing the doctor is, if the staff is hard to deal with and inept, they will go somewhere else.

We love Dr. Jain and her nurse, Lisa (I believe was her name!). We took our son there from birth to when we moved at 8 months old. Dr. Jain is so thorough and knowledgeable and makes sure that you are prepared when you leave. Nurse Lisa is great with kids and patient and kind. We were so sad to be moving in large part because of how much we loved Dr. Jain!
