Delaware Christian School has been a huge blessing to our family! They have been supportive of our educational preferences and been understanding with our kids special needs. The staff at DCS are professional and considerate. I would highly recommend this school to other families looking to educate their children with a biblical world view.

DCS has been like family for 12 years. Academics are challenging and the activities are many! If you are able to volunteer, there is always some way to get involved, which has been great for getting to know all the kids and families at the school. Like all families, there have been highs and lows but I can not imagine entrusting my kids anywhere else!

DCS has been great for our family! We love the direction of the school, the positive and caring faculty and staff, the solid athletic program, the impressive fine arts program, and the strong academics. When combined with a strong Christ-centered worldview and a well balanced application in living out our faith, this school is top notch! This is our third year being a part of this family but feel like we have always been a part of this authentic, loving community.

Parents beware! If you're looking for a Christian school...this is not it. My kids call this \Delaware School\ because they said it is missing the Christian part. Last year, several boys were suspended for looking at porn while on their annual \spiritual retreat\. One boy sexually harassed a girl, (ie. came up behind her and breathed down her neck, touched her butt) for weeks until finally her parents pulled her out and they never disciplined the boy! Sadly, several friends warned us about this school and we didn't want to believe them and so we learned the hard way. Parents would be just as well off letting their kids go to public school because there is very little difference. And by the way, most of the reviews on here are by either people that work there, or go to church there...so keep that in mind.

Our family has been so pleased with our experience at DCS! We enrolled our two elementary aged children two years ago after a long school search. We have been in another private Christian school, public school and even tried two years of homeschool, yet there was something still missing. What we have experienced at DCS is a focused group of teachers and staff that truly care for our kids spiritual, physical, and intellectual well-being. Our kids and our family are known personally not just by their teacher, but by all of the elementary teachers and staff. The teachers are extremely accessible and more than happy to receive input from parents on the best way to teach their children. We have also been impressed with the amount and quality of extra-curricular activities available to our students from sports, to band, and many available after school clubs. For elementary aged kids, the aftercare program (3:30-6PM M-F for a minimal cost) is amazing (Mrs. Sue is awesome) and our kids ask us constantly if they can go to aftercare b/c they love it! Overall, we are very, very blessed to be a part of DCS school!
