My husband and I had an urgent situation and we needed help. We were VERY pleased with the careful, swift, and considerate attention Attorney Eric Owen and his Executive Assistant Tracy Whitehead gave us. We are deeply grateful, and will not hesitate to call upon them again should we need legal services in the future. We highly recommend Elder Law of Georgia.

My husband discovered Elder Law when he was settling his mother's estate. We had been referred to an Atlanta attorney by a good friend. After speaking with that attorney who said that the estate would take no less than 6 months to probate, my husband decided to search for a local attorney. He found Elder Law of Georgia & was impressed from the beginning. Yes! Their fees were less than the Atlanta attorney and based on my mother in law's estate, they estimated the process would not take 6 months or longer. And it didn't ... Elder Law of GA provided timely updates & efficient service, notifying my husband of the process & where we were on the timeline. It was smooth & uneventful - just want you want when having to settle financial and legal matters. During the course of this transaction, Eric Owens (the attorney) and Tracy, Executive Legal Assistant, identified some major issues with our existing wills. We moved forward to update our wills (they weren't too old but they didn't comply with current GA laws and would have been a bear to reconcile upon our deaths). We didn't want our children to be burdened with a lot of legal problems, probate, fees, expenses etc. when they were (hopefully) mourning our passing. : ) We moved forward with updating our wills - relatively simple and met in their office right before Christmas to make everything official. It is nice to know that if we were to die sooner than later, our estate could avoid unnecessary expenses & legal issues. Honestly, it makes sense. Why do people wait ... death is kind of guaranteed. Since this transaction, we have & will continue to refer this firm to our family & friends. Well worth the money spent now to avoid problems later.

We were referred to Elder of Law of GA by a family member. We needed to get our affairs in order after moving to GA where I understand the courts can be persnickety about wills. They were quick, professional, and responsive to requests. They explained everything we were signing thoroughly and the price was very reasonable for an uncomplicated will. They also met with us in the parking lot for covid precautions. Would recommend.
