When my dad was having open heart surgery in March of this year, the VA hospital was very generous of allowing me to stay at Fisher House II for the duration of my father's recovery. I am forever grateful for this facility as it does fill up fast.

The people are thoughtful and kind during difficult times. The property is beautiful and well maintained. The rooms are private, with private bathrooms and are very comfortable. Overall, staying here is a bright spot in troubling times.
I am a veteran and cancer patient who lives in Corpus Christi but receives treatment at MD Anderson in Houston. I really do not know what I would have done if it hadn't been for the the Fisher House and Frank Kelly the manager helping people like my family so they could be closeby during my journey. If it wasn't for the Fisher House availability, I honestly would not have been able to pursue treatment there in Houston, treatment that saved my life. Frank, Bob, Sabrina and Pam make everyone feel welcome and like family. These Fisher Houses support so many people that otherwise could not afford to stay in Houston in a hotel. Please help support their mission by volunteering or donating handyman services or items if you are looking for a worthy cause to support. The relationships created at the Fisher House with staff and residents are beacons of hope and light that will last a lifetime.
Very thankful for these homes. I wouldn't have anywhere to stay while my Mr is in the vets hospital in Houston if mot for the Fisher house. It's so beautiful and comfortable. Every one makes you feel at home. I thank God for these people and this Fisher House. Gigi
Cannot say enough good about this place! So thankful for them when my brother became an inpatient and then had therapy.
