I have been a member of FortLee for a number of years; in the past it was a pleasure dealing with the Hopewell branch. It was a time when the staffs goal was to provide good service to ALL. The loan officer that I had the Unfortunate opportunity to work with on my vehicle refinance request Unfortunately took his sweet time, there was no desire to provide good customer service in a timely manner.He requested that I get all the information needed for refinance myself. Once I gave all the information he took forever to respond back or return calls in a timely manner.After almost two weeks he finally came up with a answer that did not even work for me; wasted my time...HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

Horrible bank..wouldnt even know where to start..from the app to the fees to everyrhing..covid 19 hits they know ppl out of work use your overdraft and they still take advantage of you..why not wave the fee? Smh. Switched banks asap..stay away.

If you have an overdraft on your account the credit union will put a block on your debit card although you have direct deposit. Ironic, if you don't have any money in your account your debit card will not work anyway... Duh.. When your direct-deposit goes through they get their money but you still have a block on your account. By the way you don't know your debit card is blocked until you go to the store or to get money and you will be embarrassed because your debit card is declined and you know you just got paid. Then you have to call the credit union, and can't get through for at least five minutes to unblock your debit card. Shame on them.

I was told to sit in the waiting room for an official letter head stating my account had been closed. After spending 15 minutes with a teller closing my account, I spent 30 minutes waiting for a single document. As I type this I am still waiting on said document.

Today I went up to the window to to put a check in my account. The lady at the window would not put my check in my account because it had “Cash” in the name field. So I went in to the teller counter. Where a guy was so considered about the fact that is said “Cash” in the names field that when he put my check in he put it in 500 dollars under what it was made out for. I was on hold for 15 minutes where they apologized for human error and that the 7 looked like a 2......... the check it self had it spelled out for him to see what the check was for. This was at 10:36am still waiting for my check to be given to me at the right amount.
