I am an employee but I also grew up around Freedom Square. Some of my earliest memories are attending the yearly campus lightings for Christmas. This place is like a second home. The employees and residents are all lovely. Couldn't ask for a better workplace.

As an employee of just under a year, I am still impressed with the staffing, the training and the overall care of residents in all levels of care. The newly renovated Independent Living campus is complete and the models are beautiful. They even serve Filet on the dining menu everyday. Freedom Square has even added to their assisted living, and it is is absolutely beautiful! with a gorgeous new dining room, sitting area, beauty shop, library, everything you need to make the residents feel at home. The longevity of people in leadership is also something else I believe is a huge benefit, having consist leaders shows that Brookdale takes care of their employees as well as their guests/residents. Very happy I've found a good location at Freedom Square.
My Mom has been a resident for 4 years. The staff have become like family and I know she is receiving amazing care. Communication with everyone involved in my Mom's care has been great. I would highly recommend this facility.
I am warning you, I just lost my mother due to neglect from this terrible place. Septic shot set in after being brought here and left without proper care so PLEASE for your own sake, do not leave your loved ones here!
It stink when I entered this place, no surprise in addition the stuff was unfriendly.
