This beautiful historic house is perfectly located near downtown. In addition to the charm of the house, Jen and Dan are fabulous and friendly and the perfect hosts! Jen makes the most delicious treats and homey breakfast (2 courses ) that will leave you satisfied and wanting more! The rooms are equipped with a personal touch as they integrate local businesses into their aesthetic (wonderful goat milk soaps in the bathroom!) Hand sanitizer and wipes are readily available and accessible all over the house as well! We stayed in the crosby fireplace room which has its own fireplace! The bathroom may seem small but it’s actually bigger than it looks! In addition, we choose the fireside dinner package. Our dinner was catered by a local Chef Dan Brooks (not to be confused with owner Dan ). The location was perfect and the food super delicious! He made the cherry vinaigrette for the salad and I wish I could bottle it and eat it everyday! We can’t wait to return to this new “home away from home”! Thank you for your hospitality and helpfulness! P.S. They have the most beautiful custom mugs and you can buy one to take home as a souvenir!! We definitely did

This is a very clean, quiet space. I enjoyed my stay. They left nothing out. My room was neat and clean. They were great host. Coffee and Tea available the entire stay. Breakfast was amazing. This was a very relaxing experience. I can't wait for another stay!

My husband and I stayed for two nights in different rooms. Both were great, clean, and worth the price. Jen's breakfasts are a highlight. Fresh and original recipes. Overall I would go back and enjoy the house and the truly friendly couple.
We have been to Ludington several times bed & breakfasts are our first choice. This property was so impressive, I decided let’s go! Just stayed this week the inn was awesome so beautiful Dan gave us a tour we stayed in the newly renovated Carpenters Room so comfortable. Jen’s fresh homemade breakfast was delicious wish we could of met her chef was busy. The beaches are beautiful well taken care of sunsets amazing and ice cream to top the night off. Yes we will be back.
We had the best time ! Hosts couldn’t be any nicer, food delicious, room clean and lovely. I recommend to add on the romance package ! You will not be disappointed. We can not wait to go back ! Thank you
Jen and Dan are wonderful hosts who have found a way to implement necessary Covid protections while maintaining the B&B vibe. The Lamplighter is a beautiful and warm place to stay. We've stayed there three times and plan on returning again.
Fantastic hospitality, great location, and absolutely amazing breakfasts. Great care was taken to follow the dietary requests of 2 of our 9 guests. We definitely did not miss out on delicious food because of our restrictions!!
