I drive two hours to Springfield to have Mark work on my gear and it's totally worth it. He's a consummate pro, has reasonable rates and does mods that other techs wouldn't touch. He's fixed several of my beloved amps, electric guitars and acoustics. Top notch.

There arent too many old school guys like Mark left around who have so much knowledge and experience, they dont even fathom just how much they have...Mark will gladly be giving you some insight into a question you have and before you know it he is talking about a Brownface sounding amp that he worked on that was owned by Kieth Richards or doing sound back in the day for Waylon Jennings, or how cool Hubert Sumlin's old car was and the sound that comes from his fingertips ...all while just continuing talking while you are realizing you are hearing stories that can only be passed on like this and Mark doesn't even realize just how cool all this is... he's just talking away to help answer your question you asked and now have every detail of how and why and now who and where. He gets the job done better than you even know how you want or need it done. He has worked on a few of my amps and even guitars and you'll have tone that you never even knew you could acquire yourself. Let him do all you need done regarding guitar, amp, pedals, sound and I'm sure much more than I'm even aware of. Great guy, great service, cool shop and gear, and I guarantee can answer any question you have!

I took my guitar to have the action lowered, and Mark did a fantastic job. He even replaced the strings since it was my first time visiting. I can tell he really cares about the quality of his work, and would highly recommend visiting him if you need an instrument repair!
