My brother Mike, a Veteran US Navy Line Officer, passed away of advanced dementia. Using a prepaid policy that I had taken out for him, I was extremely satisfied with the excellent service provided by Malec & Sons Funeral Home, and Funeral Director Tom. He thought of everything, had answers to all my questions, and even provided information on topics that I hadn’t even thought about. The experience was seemless from beginning to end and allowed the family to focus on mourning my brother’s loss without the stress associated with all the mundane details of the wake and funeral itself. I do not reside in the Chicago area anymore, so when my Dad passed away & asked family members there who to use to get an 'urn'. Malec & Sons was highly recommended. I did most of my long distance conversations with Tom Turkowski who was wonderful. He sent me information to look at regarding the types of urns with prices & what the cemetery we picked out would recommend too! Everything was wonderful on the day of Celebration of Life for my Dad.
