The Employees are exceptionally kind and understanding, and are also knowledgeable and hard working. The Doctors and Nurses explain everything they are doing so you know what is happening and when. All around great service.

Been here twice, once for myself and got speedy, better than expected care both times. They also saved my dad's life after a heart attack once. Take a breath people, this is a complicated job and your pain isn't the only thing that matters.
Absolutely horrible biller, avoid St Joseph emergency room if at all possible-- It is standard that if you have an out of network emergency charge you need to work with insurance to get it sorted and it takes many months (sometimes even years, as many as two years in one case for me). This physician group is fast on the trigger to send to collections even when insurance is being processed. Absolutely the lowest bar of professionalism and awareness of the realities of modern medical practice and billing.
Can I give these people a negative rating?!? The billing practices of this physician group should be criminal! They do not bill insurance and WILL NOT bill insurance. While they have the option on their \portal\ to submit your insurance information and will take it over the phone (if you can get them to answer) and tell you they are billing your insurance they just won't do it. They also won't send you any additional bills saying anything is outstanding after those conversation and just send you to collections. These are people who went through the emergency room and are dealing with medical issues. We went to CHOC Mission Hospital for my 3 week old daughter who had meningitis. The physicians bedside manner was horrendous and we spent a total of 10 minutes total with him. My call from collections was extremely aggressive and verbatim she told me they do not bill insurance as they are legally not obligated to and just want their money however it has to come in. These \doctors\ are a huge part of what is wrong with healthcare. Oh ya and of course they are OUT OF NETWORK. This is the most infuriating experience I have ever been through.
The doctors in the Emergency Department are crooks. They do not accept any insurance and will charge whatever they want. Do not go to this emergency department. My son never even saw the doctor and we were charged over 2000 just from a doctor we never saw. Additionally, the doctor misdiagnosed the problem. The hospital charges are covered. I should have been only charged a 100 copay . But the doctor added an extra 2000 to that charge
