5 stars because it’s a beautiful hidden little gem BUT, I had only 5 minutes left to get to the day area use and I had to turn around \u200d️ I was in a 4x4 and still felt I couldn’t make it I felt so silly because I’m sure I could’ve in my tundra but I just need to know. Is the last half a mile THAT crazy of a road? I felt like I may have been going the wrong way but there was no other place to go. Any locals reading this please help me out lol

Beautiful swimming holes ! You best bring an 4WD. The parking is good and there are restrooms before you star the hikking to find the best place for you. Respect the private areas. If you do hike, you can find amazing views. Beware with the slime.

Beautiful place with clean emerald water, pretty warm for the Yuba river also. Advice on the parking: park closer to the campground to keep your vehicle semi-clean. Also shout out to people who was having fun in the day use area parking lot this Sunday - \thank you\ for the broken rear window. Hope you parking lot fun was worth it.

I gave this a one because.... I was unable to reach the place. This might not be fair but I didnt know what else to do. We were only able to get as close as to .5 mi to our destination, at that point you need a four-wheel drive vehicle. I was driving our KIA Sorento, my son was in his Elantra and there was NO WAY that his car was going to be able to navigate that section of the road. There was no where to park as the road was only wide enough for a single car. I only wish that when we investigated where to go swimming that there would have been warnings about the road conditions.....The day was not a total loss. Just past the town of Washington you come to a bridge. We stopped there and found a section of river that was just gorgeous. That part I give a \6\ !!!!
