I prefer to use smaller banks if i must use a bank. The teller at this wintrust location refused to cash a payroll check written from another wintrust charter without trying to check the balance in my personal account. I just want to cash the check their customer wrote to me and get the cash I'm owed that this bank is holding. What is the point of a check if it cant be cashed at the bank that holds the money? Not surprisingly the teller made a 500 mistake with the person in front of me in line as well
