I was completely blown away by The Princess Anne. I was expecting "a hotel room" and what I got was a trip back in time. The common areas and dining room are so spacious and elegant. And the baked goods awaiting guests in the lobby rivaled something you'd pay 5 for at Starbucks. My "room" consisted of a living room...bedroom...and a kitchen with microwave, range, fridge and a Nespresso maker. When I was a kid my dad would take us to New York every Thanksgiving to see a Broadway show and we'd stay at an elegant hotel on Central Park. I was fondly brought back to those times with my stay at the Princess Anne. From the radiators...to the elevator with the "gate" closure....to the room key (yes a KEY...a real KEY)....I just loved this place. And Sam, the resident manager, was terrific too!

Such a charming little place with so much character and history. The hospitality was that of a upscale B&B. The staff was very personable. We absolutely loved it!

Beautiful old hotel. Felt like staying in a comfortable, old home. We loved it. We had dinner there also. It was excellent. I had the wild boar ribs. They were delicious and tender. We will definitely be back. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable,. The manager Samantha was great. If is in quiet, Residential area but close to town so you can walk downtown. We jus loved it

Mother/Daughter Get-Away; absolutely delightful! Our Room had a lovely sitting area, very comfortable bed. And a very adequate bathroom for it's age. The Breakfast was delicious, some very unique options (yum!), but also your basic choices. We enjoyed a glass of wine in front of the gorgeous fire place, and perused the "Suggestion Notebooks" on places to go by "People in the Know", the Staff. The Staff was very accommodating, we felt so very at home! (And make sure you grab one of "The Treats" they have available; my Walnut Brownie at 3am was so good!) We so enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the Princess Anne to anyone. (Also a little partial to the name, Anne )

The room was nice and clean with a sitting area located on the front. While a couple guests had dogs, they were not overtly disturbing. The hotel atmosphere is very pleasant with relaxing background music. We enjoyed breakfast from a varietal menu served at individual white tables in a comfortable and safe (COVID-19) dining room. The staff were exceptional in service and attitude. Jenny’s a gas.

When someone truly loves what they do, it really shows in their work. And that is the case here, the hospitality here is impeccable. The morning breakfast cooked by the super talented chef is the best meal i have had in a long time! We went to 6 restaurants this weekend, yet the meal we loved the most is the complimentary breakfast served at the hotel. I came here to celebrate my birthday for the weekend, and I cannot recommend this hotel enough. They truly added the extra touches to make it a memorable day for me. The location is perfect and, there are restaurants within walking distance. The hotel has taken plenty of Covid precautions and we felt completely safe staying here!

Just got home from 2 night stay at the Princess Anne Hotel. Just can't think of anything to complain about. Beautiful hotel. Good location, super friendly staff, spacious rooms, delicious breakfast! They even put out homemade treats in the lobby. It's a historic hotel so there'll be some creaks and squeaks expected and that's part of the charm. If that's not your speed then maybe the Marriott is a better option for you. As for us, we loved the Princess Anne.

I cannot say enough great things about the Princess Anne Hotel! It started with incredible service from Jocelyn while booking and only got better from there. We had to get an early start on Saturday and were going to miss Breakfast, so they put two plates of granola, yogurt, and fruit in our fridge. When we got breakfast on Sunday it was superb! All of the staff we encountered were incredibly helpful and accommodating. The room was so nice and spacious (we had the Queen Superior Sweet). We were there to celebrate our anniversary and my birthday and they left a note on a letter board saying, “Happy Birthday and Anniversary” with a small bottle of Prosecco and champagne glasses! The entire atmosphere of the hotel was so cozy and romantic! We can’t wait to go back.
