Called about a repair to my minisplit system that was giving a p2 defrost code let them know what my findings was that is may need a recharge due to a leak. Also let technician know that could see some spray on back on outdoor unit and when cold could see a vapor coming from back of it. Company was repsonsive and technician was nice. They tightned up a flare and added 3.5 pounds of r410. Thr 410 was almost 160 itself. Technician was at my location for 90mins and did a leak detection and said nothing found. System ran fine for about 5 days then started same issue. Star heating and cooling came back out and within 20mins new technician found leak on back of coil as I had anticipated. Spoke to Adam at star heating requesting a refund on the R410 since leake should of been detected the first time before adding 160 of r410. Adam said he spoke to general manager ans said no refund would be given unless I used them for the next repair needed and they would apply it towards that. Dissapointed a business is willing to lose future business and receive this review over roughly 200 of refrigerant and labor.

After my HVAC system stopped working, I was able to get a prompt service call. The receptionist was helpful and kind and sent a technician to my home at the exact day and time promised. Ken did a great job diagnosing and fixing the problem by installing a new thermostat. I'm very happy with the service and the company has done well for me since 2006 when I bought my Trane system. Thanks!

We had Star heating and Cooling install new mini split air conditioning. We had gotten a couple of estimates and theirs was the most reasonable. They did a wonderful job and went out of their way to make sure everything went smoothly. The team was friendly, tidy and hard working. They showed up on time and finished the job in less than 2 days. We were very pleased that we chose this company for our ductless AC.
