Having met the president of the club, I can honestly say, I've never met a more condescending individual in the sport of RC.(I've been flying RC seriously for almost 10 yrs) He had absolutely zero time to talk to me about the club or any details for that matter. As secluded and decent a facility, I would never join this club based on this first impression. Lukewarm receptions to somewhat new to the area flyers, or first time flyers, is not growing the sport in a positive direction.....Or, maybe he was having a bad day. :-(
