Jennifer Shakespeare

I have been so impressed with how supportive the Willow Creek team is! Everyone is quick with a helping hand instead of a "that's not my job". Mason, is wonderful to see what a resident needs and take care of it. He personally went and cleaned an apartment and moved a fridge while I was there because he didn't want the residents to wait. Cori and Sonya have gone above and beyond during Covid to help in communication with the families, which has been a big task but so comforting. Parker is always so happy and energetic and it was so fun to see her getting the residents out for a long anticipated van ride up the mountain. Vinos and her team made the roll out of the restaurant dining again super special for the Willow Creek residents. Jordan & Susan both have a heart of gold and are willing to do whatever it takes to keep the residents happy and comfortable. They are exceptional. Heather adds a positive energy that makes anyone feel like they can accomplish anything. The CNA's & Brittany are pure sunshine in personality. THANK YOU SO MUCH TEAM WILLOW CREEK for teaching me what team work looks like and what love in action is all about. YOU GUYS ROCK!

Last year for school, I got to go to work with my mom(Sonya Barquist). I had a lot of fun doing it, I got to meet all the residents & her co-workers. I had a lot of fun there because it’s really interesting with lots to do… I got to meet a lot of new people & I never knew she did something like that for work. Even when I was supposed to leave, I asked if I could stay longer because it was so cool & fun. All the residents I met were so nice & happy. Her co-workers were all having fun & are friends. That day at work with my mom, inspired me to want to maybe do something like this when I grow up because it was really cool.

I absolutely love the Wentworth at Willow Creek. I have worked here for 2 years now and can say throughout these two years my experience has been wonderful. The building is clean and bright, it provides a cozy feeling for many. Everyone is SO caring, and the work environment is positive. I adore the residents. They are very happy and receive excellent care. The staff and residents are like family. It is truly amazing to see the compassion in all of the care that is provided, you can tell the staff loves what they do. I am so happy to be part of such an amazing team, the Wentworth at Willow Creek IS AMAZING!

I'm proud to be the Resident Experience Director for the Wentworth at Willow Creek Assisted Living Community. I'm honor to be able to work for amazing residents. Our staff is dedicated in making this chapter in their lives equally as special as all the other chapters previously. 2020 has been a year filled with uncertainty and challenges. I'm so impressed by our staff working hard to keep our residents safe and happy. Quarantine has been hard on each of us, especially our residents. We have come together as a team like no other. Our staff rose to the challenge and keep going. I'm impressed by their dedication. I want to thank my residents and their families for trusting us. It has been worth every moment. To all the staff "YOU ROCKED IT" and let's find all the Silver Linings from 2020 and beyond.

As a hospice nurse, I go to many assisted living facilities. The Wentworth of Willowcreek is amazing. The facility is beautiful and clean and the staff take great care of their residents. They truly care about everyone’s welfare and providing high quality care. Susan, the Director of Nursing, is very knowledgeable, compassionate and caring and Sara, one of the Medtechs, regularly goes above and beyond to provide great care. The rest of the staff is amazing too. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone!

I have worked at Wentworth at Willow Creek for 2 years as the Director of Health and Wellness. I have absolutely loved my time at this community. The care given in this building is outstanding and done with love and compassion. The staff are the best I have ever had the pleasure of working with. We are all here for the Residents that live here and they are happy and well cared for. The building is clean and cozy. This is my home away from home and I love coming to work every day. Thank you Team Willow Creek. Shout out to all my Care Team for being amazing and demonstrating the meaning of service with love!!!

Okay, first of all, this is not your stereotypical crazy low energy retirement community. Normally, I’m a bit frightened by older folks (who seem to me) to be nearer to death than I am a girlfriend. Thankfully, this place is not like that. I do not feel like I’m entering purgatory when I enter the facility. I actually felt the warmth of a well-maintained fire of life, which I like to call energy. Which is a wonderful feeling to feel upon entering what I tend to expect purgatory to be like (I know, it’s bad). Now, I’m a curious guy, by nature. So I felt a powerful urge to uncover what they have that other retirement communities don’t. In my opinion, it’s easy to see. Observe. The interactions between the staff and residents makes it clear the staff are active and enjoy their jobs. It’s the environment, the atmosphere and culture that’s been created here that speaks volumes about people who created it and manage it day in and day out. Visit here. Worth a look.
