Nice ORV park that has varying levels of difficulties. Stock vehicles all the way to heavily modified can come out and have a good time. Traffic isn’t horrible, there are some spots that can get a little backed up, but that doesn’t happen often. Make sure you have a good map of the park before you go in, reception is spotty at best.

I've heard of this place for a long time but never believed the hype. It's a great off-road park. Lake frontage, dirt trails through the woods, rocky streams, and rock hill climbs, ledges, open areas... There's truly something for everyone here. If you come, I recommend a winch. I've had one on my Jeep for 6 years and off-road regularly, this was the first place I've used it, and I'm not mad about it, it was a great day.

This is the real thing by any standard nationwide. Extended wheel base, extra wide, extra tall, \u003c7\ of ground clearance or 20\ wheels with lowpro tires will be *severely* limited in the areas they can explore. Could you take your mall crawler or Toureg out there and have fun? Sure, but you would need to go very slow & have a spotter to prevent damage. Traffic jams are common during weekdays. Terrain is a mix of -large- loose rock, mud and extreme boulder fields in a mix of heavily wooded and open space. The Southern end has alot of mud. Spent much of the day in 4L. The park is small but limitless in the challenges it offers up to purpose-built rock crawling. DO NOT attempt to enter without a map/gpx, spare tire/jack, fire extinguisher and snatch strap. The maps available online are a suggestion only. If possible find a .gpx file somewhere and orient yourself with the topo. There are so many unmarked trails criss-crossing that nav in the proper sense is notional at best. Tow bills start at 700, nearest hospital is 30min away. The locals don't seem too friendly to \others\ in the midwest small town sense, but we had a great time and minded our own. Great park and I would go again in a hearbeat. Good job to all the people that manage and maintain this space!

Loved it! Everyone is friendly and helpful. Easy to get turned around and trails aren't marked but it was lots of fun.

Great spot to off road, spent alot of time here when I lived in Manhattan. Fun to watch the serious crawlers go up the widow maker.
