University Apartments Durham really is a great place to live. The location is beyond convenient and close to the best grocery stores and other amenities. The staff is responsive to feedback and is handling COVID well. My unit is great and roomier than I thought it would be. Having laundry in unit is great as well. I had technical issues signing a lease but the staff went above and beyond to secure me a spot.

We recently moved in and feel like it is a quiet place. We are close to Duke University, bus stations, markets, and you can safely walk within the neighborhood. Perhaps, something strange is that we hear from the neighbors who live on the 3rd floor on some occasions. The space is cozy and We love living here \u003c3!

I would not recommend this place. First of, it is not that close to Duke nor to downtown, there are better options. I lived here for 6 months. There were a rat issue and leaking bathroom from the apartment above. They tried to charge me with these problems when I moved out. I called them and emailed them about the things about the apartment while I was there, and they were not helpful at all. The manager and the office people are bad. They just talk nice. Classic, they reply google reviews here to offer help or talk about it. They did not send me any emails regarding my ending lease. When I called them they said I have to leave, they rent the place to someone else. Don’t live here.!

Really great place to live. Location close to Duke and downtown Durham, both walkable. Staff is really friendly. They always do nice little things to make living here fun!

I have lived at University Apartments for going on 4 years now. I love living here. Yes there have been issues in the past with getting maintenance done and things fixed. There have been issues with management and poor communication. However I am confident that this is all in the past. The new manager has been on the ball. They hired new maintenance folks, communicate with residents in a timely manner, and extended the office hours until 6 pm and alsoopen on Saturdays. I love my neighbors, we look out for each other. There are two pools, two gyms, city bus stops, Duke bus stops a few blocks away, a grocery store (Durham Food COOP), restaurant (Grub), and downtown is just a short walk away. Anyway you should live here, please take other reviews here with a grain of salt.
