Their techs arrived on time to maintain our AC unit. They did a great job and were very reasonably priced. On another occasion, my furnace condensate pump failed on a Sunday. It wasn't a difficult job, so I wanted to replace it myself. A tech met me at their shop and sold me an in-stock perfect replacement, charged me a reasonable price, and gave me a couple suggestions on the install! I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

Terrible! Noisiest system ever. Ducts whistle and ping. Nick wouldn't touch it for a year saying it was normal and would settle out even though we told him it was not normal and pinged every couple of seconds all the while the ducts heated up and again while they cooled down. He wouldn't even come out to hear it. It's going on 3 years and it's still noisy. After the year, and us still complaining, they reluctantly did come and \adjust\ the ducts but a few days later the noises were back. We also have a zoned system and when you get the right combination of zones running the ducts whistle loud enough to wake you up at night. The zones are set up wrong and the ductwork is poor. These guys do what they want rather than listening to what the customer wants. Nick even threatened to put a lien on our house if we didn't pay him in full which he couldn't do since the job wasn't complete. Worst HVAC contractor I ever saw.

No exaggeration, this was the BEST customer service we have received in years. Van Handel went above and beyond to get our old furnace working until they could put in a new furnace. They are punctual, professional, friendly, and really care about their customers. We could not be more pleased with their services and our new Carrier furnace. We will be customers for life!
