UPDATE!!! it has been 4 months still getting the run around as to what happened to my son and how he passed. The doctor that \examined\ him after passing asked for myself ( MOM) to reach out to her so that she can explain to me what happened, and instead of her explaining to me what happened she is questioning me and being rude and just hung up on me. so yeah called the nursing home back still have not heard back from them. ALSO, his wheelchair was thrown away without my consent YES! they took it upon themselves and I am sure sold it for parts. This facility is horrible plain and simple!!!!
Idk why there’s so many bad comments about this place but i worked here for 1.5 years (had to leave because of relocation) and most of my coworkers are so nice. This place is like a home as long as you’re nice and patient enough. I really miss the residents here too because they’re the sweetest people ever!
I love the residents and seeing the smiles on their faces. They have been like family to me. It saddens me that can not give the care that these precious kids/adults need. Always understaff especially with nurses and CNAs. I had to leave due to medical reasons but would do anything for these residents to make them feel comfortable. This was my place that I called home for 7 and half years.
My daughter comes home and explains how bad of a day she had and tells me how short of staff they have been. Also they don't take there job seriously because they don't have enough staff so when An incident occurs it just Gets thrown under bus. The administration is also completely rude. This place is literally the worst place to put your loved ones. I wouldn't put my worst enemy here.
