We went on this tour on a beautiful sunny Friday at the end of January. We took our three kids (ages 10, 7, and 5). The owners and guides were very friendly and let the kids play with the dogs as long as they wanted to, including the puppies that were roaming around. The ride was around 5 miles and took about 45 minutes. The cost is high (taking care of and training dozens of dogs is not an inexpensive process!), but I would still recommend, especially if you've never been on a dog sled ride before.

I cannot sing enough praises about this company. We flew to bend just for this experience and it didn’t disappoint. We arrived early to our ride and they took us right away. These dogs and their people are absolutely amazing. We did the 1-hour tour. After petting all the dogs and puppies and picking our team, it was time to go. Our musher, Luke, was very knowledgeable and told us all about the dogs that were pulling our sled that day (they have over 80 dogs), why they were in the position they were in and their backgrounds (some had even pulled and placed in the Alaskan Iditarod)! It was windy on the mountain but the trails were calm and peaceful. Make sure to bring a camera and warm gloves. It was a lifetime experience we will never forget. We hope to come back for the 4-hour tour one day!!

This is a wonderful experience for locals and guests alike. We have gone out with Rachel and her dogs several times. Our grandchildren ask to go whenever they visit Bend in the Winter. Highly recommended.

Super fun experience! We did the marathon trip and Sean was an awesome leader. Rachel and Jerry have a great business. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The dogs were great and very well cared for. Would highly recommend this trip!

Great experience! The guides are very knowledgeable and happily answer any questions about the sport. The dogs are happy and excited. Loved getting to interact and put all the pups!
