This incredible place is a gem. Situated nicely outside the congested heart of downtown Charlottesville, the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, and the service was fantastic. Most importantly the food was AMAZING. Fresh ingredients, plated beautifully, with amazing flavors. The wine and beer selection was also expansive. We are from out of town and would love to go back!

Wonderful dinner at Basil Mediterranean Bistro. Greek style salad, Lamb Khabob Entree and Gelato to finish. Service was amazing. Just a nice little spot tucked away on the south side of Charlottesville.

Food is very good. They will also take some custom changes as a lot of their menu is cooked to order. We ordered the seafood soup for our daughter and they were able to change the base to vegetable instead of gorgonzola which she would not have liked. Prices are a little on the high end for this type of cuisine but its worth it. Their online menu is very well done with pictures for every dish. We will be back next time we are in the area for sure. Oh and grape leaves were the best we have ever had and my wife is lebanese!
