We're a small woman-owned business that began in the owner's back yard. As a college student working two unfulfilling jobs, Nicole Alamillo decided to make a change in the beach cruiser market. Her goal was to sell quality bicycles at an affordable price. Today, Chubby's Cruisers is the largest beach cruiser retailer in the United States, offering a variety of quality bicycles to fit numerous styles and budgets. We choose from manufacturers who stand behind their products and we custom-build your bike exactly how you want it. I'm having such a bad experience with this store...I bought the bike ..a week later after not receiving anything from them I decided to call and then the guy tells me the bike i bought is available. It took them a week just to tell me My bike wasn't even available and only because I called. They offer me a different i said and that it would be shipped out in a couple of days a week later all I get is a email saying that my bike has been shipped but they did not a tracking #. I send 2 emails asking for the tracking number and I haven't gotten a response...I really wish I read these comments before I purchased...only purchase from sites that have PayPal its easier to get your money back

Have to say Chubby Bikes is absolutely amazing! I recently was looking to purchase a bicycle for my child and I. I was hoping to get them sooner than later to get my boy out for some outdoor bicycling activities. I was extremely surprised with how quickly I received our bicycles! Talk about 4 days later!! I highly recommend them.

I have had the absolute worst experience with Chubby's Bikes. I ordered and paid for a 7 speed Micargi Cruiser back in May 2020 and still have NOT received my bike. I have been calling and emailing and NO ONE responds. At this point I would just like a total refund but I can't even get anyone to respond to that request. I am so frustrated!

Awful experience regarding their e-commerce, I wish I read the online reviews first! I ordered a bike that was available for preorder but then every time I checked the product page the backorder date kept getting pushed further and further out. I understood there were pandemic delays regarding suppliers but they kept telling me it was in transit from the supplier. Mind you, I received no emails regarding all the shipping delays from this vendor whatsoever. It seemed like it was my responsibility to contact them for a status update. This went on for 3 months until my patience finally wore out and I requested my order canceled, which they did, bit they never issued my refund, and no response when I inquired about it a second time! I had to dispute the charge from them with my financial institution. Save your sanity and do not order from this company.

Ordered bike that was shown as in stock a few weeks before Mother's Day. Received an email stating it was shipped, but there was no tracking number. I emailed and was told they haven’t received the tracking number from the warehouse, but would let me know when they get it. After another week, I called and was told they still had not received a tracking number, meaning the order had not actually shipped. This is odd to me since they had sent me a shipping email shortly after I ordered. After another week, I emailed again and they said the bike is now on back order and it would get shipped the beginning of June. I asked if they could guarantee that I would get it then and they said Yes. Fast forward to beginning of June and still nothing. I emailed for a status update and received no reply, they just canceled my order. Remember this was supposed to be a Mother’s Day gift and we’re now in June and now I can’t find a bike anywhere. Would recommend staying away.

Ordered my bike on may 18th. The throne track lord in neo chrome. They were at first responsive to calls and emails but now have not returned a call or email. It’s been almost 3 months. I’ve been patient. I still want the bike or just a refund. Please contact me!!! It’s not a fake review. Your website is shows your in Ohio but you have a California number.i have emails back and fourth with a Kristen. Now some how I have a refund email and cancelled order email. But this was a fake review...

A week ago i called asking about a bike that was on the site, and i received a call back almost immediately. I was told that it should have shipped by no later than two days. Here i am after multiple calls, and an email asking for updates with no response. Id like to get some sort of information bac.
