️ BRING ALL THE KIDS IN YOUR FAMILY! The Great Lakes Science Center has 3 levels of adventure, from interactive installations to educational exhibits. This time around they’ve extended their BODY WORLD exhibit and it’s absorbing and edifying to say the least. I spent about 2-3 hours engaged with my family, my young nephews really enjoyed the children’s room with its indoor playground equipment. The store has some interesting gadgets and there’s so much to be involved with. I can’t wait to visit again!

Such a cool place to go both for kids and adults. Me and my husband had a blast here. We spent 5 hours in here and worth every second. Was super affordable!!!!! Definitely a place to go to. Make sure you have a full free day because there's so much to do here. Lots of hands on things, and would want to go through there slowly and not rush. Great science center and LOVE the Nasa section.
A great winter time activity. We took our toddler here on a cold and snowy January day and she had a blast! Admission levels have been lowered due to Covid and we felt safe with the amount of people in the center. All exhibits were spaced out and hand washing stations plentiful.
I came here for the Body World exhibit. Cost of 15 per ticket and 8 per parking. I think this is perhaps just a bit on the steep end as far as value for money is concerned. The museum itself is small and will take less than an hour to complete. The Body World Exhibit was a very cool and informative display of actual cadavers with lots of detailed information on organ systems and chronic diseases. There cadavers were basically people who donated their bodies to science, immortalized in a process called plastitization. Would highly recommend. However, the rest of the museum was very underwhelming and was basically a large children's playground. I would have rated it 1 star if not for the bodies exhibit.
My son (13) and I loved the Science Center. We visited in August of 2020 and despite Covid, everything but the great lakes ore freighter was open. They have a lot of hands-on things to illustrate ideas in science so with a little help, kids can come away from there with a better understanding of science. They have an enclosed parking structure and a reduced price for visitors. They are closed during Browns games (when fans are allowed) so look for that. They have a decent cafe with pizza and sandwiches and a gift shop with lots of cool stuff. I will definitely be going again.
