I don’t even know where to begin. Me and my husband, we love Belgium and its people. If they smile, they do because they feel like it not because they “have to”. The experience at the embassy was not different. Everything is genuine with Belgians. We felt so welcomed. This is the second consulate we visit in the United States, we have been at the one in Washington as well and we felt the same way. The lady who helped us (I’m so sorry I did not get her name, I would love to thank her) she was nice, kind, patient, warm. Thank you so much for this experience. Furthermore, I called the consulate today to ask something and the lady I spoke to was nice, and friendly, and kind. Thank you so mucha again. ️

It all started with an email where i had query about multiple entry to EU region and every time it would be a different country and not Belgium. I never expected a call from consulate, not in my wildest dream, detailing me each and every steps required. who does that? \fortunately Belgium consulate\. Helpful, Friendly. Applied for a Belgian passport 'offshore', and since Atlanta isn't anywhere near my home, my one-time visit was all it took to handle the entire process. My fellow Belgians on staff were welcoming, efficient and supportive. It was like coming home.
