0 starts!!! I have been trying to contact these people numerous times (called infinite times) and no one picks up the phone! I’m trying to make an appointment to renew my expired Spanish passport and I cannot make an appointment via online because the page doesn’t work!! It only shows a white screen with no times for appointments. I need to renew my passport. Why is this so difficult!?? I’m located in SC and this is incredibly frustrating. How long do I need to have my passport expired for you to pay attention to the Spaniard population?? This is unacceptable.

I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with the Consulate. I had several interactions with various people over the course of approximately six months on multiple complex matters that often required a lot of questions, answers and clarification. Every email was responded to professionally and with prompt attention. I found every meeting in person was well organized and equally as professional with the Counsel General himself and the entire staff. All of this during a global pandemic made it even more impressive. What I've learned is that Spain is indeed bureaucratic, and has a lot of rules and red tape, but they do bureaucracy very well and the staff of the Consulate does and excellent job of helping you through the process. Thanks to all there for your help!

Horrendous service! Impossible to get a hold of anybody at this place. No one answers the phone nor do they respond to emails despite them asking on the website and via phone to send them emails and they will respond within 24 hours. I have been trying to reach them since November 3, 2020. The website is horrible and the phone, I do not even know why they list one (useless...) I guess they're taking a permanent siesta.

I have tried to make an appointment through their ENLACE platform within the time window they told me it is open (only on Fridays between 8:00am to 8:30am) for three weeks! The only thing that appears is a blank screen. However, their colleagues at the L.A. consulate use the same system and it actually works and displays a calendar with dates to schedule appointments. Email correspondences take forever, because they drag their feet to respond. They lack any willingness to help especially in comparison to their colleagues at the Chicago and L.A. consulates. The admins at those other consulates were responsive and polite. The Miami consulate admins are just \too busy\ to be helpful because all I get are excuses.
