Company is unprofessional they are no more then sales company for other companies they will tell you we have to charge you a start up fee to send you a start up package out and if you decide you dont want it you can call with in 30 days and get a full refund of your money and cancel it but thats not the case I have called the company 30 times over the last 2 weeks leaving voicemails they will not call you back they will trap you in a contract and will make it impossible to get out off do your homework on them and dont fall for the scam

This company is a scam they are crooks they took the initial payment out of my account twice before I had to go to my bank and cancel my bank card to keep them from stealing any more money from me... DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR CAR WARRANTY
I called this company because they left me a message about warrant coverage. I specifically asked if this was Ford due to just buying a Ford 150. They had all my information on the vehicle and preceeded to say they were Ford. I purchased a Platinum Warrant. Even as a got off the phone with them and asked them again was this Ford and a Ford warrant they said yes. When I got my paperwork in the mail, it said Platinum Plus and not Ford. I HAVE REPEATLY TRIED TO CALL AND FINALLY GOT SOMEONE ON THE PHONE. THIS COMPANY NOW SAYS I HAVE TO FORFEIT A FEE ORDER TO CANCEL MY SERVICE. THIS IS A WORTHLESS COMPANY. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM. THEY ARE NOT TRUTHFUL AND TRUSTWORTHY!!!!
Called PLATINUM PLUS AUTO PROTECTION to canceled my service but it took me forever for someone to answer. Finally this lady answered, but the way she sound and how she approached on the phone was so rude and unprofessional. It's like, she has no enthusiasm or motive to convince me, \THE CUSTOMER\ in selling their product. Anyway, the lady was pushy too trying to change my mind to keep their product. (Sorry, not with that attitude). So I declined the offer respectfully and I gave her the reason esp because of her unprofessionalism. This same lady was upset and apologized with no feelings, talking over me and hung up. When I called back, I was transfer 5x, left message 3x and on hold for 15-20 mins. Now I know why Platinum Plus Auto Protection has poor rating. Do not purchase their insurance. Unsatisfied Customer
Just recently had a part go out on my truck. Took it to the shop and the mechanic notified me that the DEF heater was out. They contacted Platinum plus and yes the repairs were covered. The repair cost was given to the Platinum rep and they wanted to install a Chinese part on my American vehicle just because it was 200 cheaper. Needless to say that was total BS. Even when I've had a wrecked vehicle the shop never put aftermarket on my vehicle. They paid labor and i paid the rest out of my pocket because they refused to put the manufacturers part back on my vehicle.
