Great experience at the Lombard credit union. Was interested in a high yield rate savings account, a young teller by the name of crystal provided attentive service answering related questions. Interestingly CU1 rates are 30-40% better right now than other CUs in the area. If you are looking for a good rate, do not hesitate to look into CU1. Thanks guys for attentive care and info!

I applied for a loan and was assigned to a loan officer who made no effort to contact me. I was able to connect with another worker who said she could upload information into the system for me and let my assigned officer know. When I finally got in touch with my loan officer she seemed like she had no idea who I was and said “I get a lot of emails a day.” It took two more weeks to get a disclosure agreement that did not include a rate lock and an additional month for closing. This was one of the most outrageous experiences I have ever had with a financial institution. I would caution anyone going here for loans- they are not diligent about completing them, do not communicate amongst their coworkers, and will ding your credit with no guarantee they can make anything happen. Be very cautious.
