I booked Todd to celebrate a milestone birthday! Todd was prompt and always responsive to inquiries. The weather in February is very fickle however, Todd kept me informed of all options and when the winds were too high to fly on the original scheduled date, he worked hard to find an alternative. We loved our experience and were so grateful to have been able to enjoy the most beautiful sunrise flight! Thanks Todd and John!

I proposed to my now fiancee on Todd's balloon ride. He was very communicative ahead of the ride and took care of all the arrangements well in advance to keep it a surprise for my fiancee. He even helped us hire an amazing photographer to capture the precious moments. Todd explained the flight and safety rules really well and put in his best efforts to give us a memorable experience! We really enjoyed the celebrations post-flight and the lovely stories he shared about the history of hot air balloons. Todd is an experienced pilot and we would highly recommend Delmarva Balloon Rides to anyone wanting to do something special for their big day!
This hot air balloon ride experience, was just that. An experience and whole vibe! I went up for the first time as a surprise birthday gift, with loved ones and I have to say that not only was this a bucket list type experience for me, but Todd (Pilot) and Ryan were extremely personable, courteous and kind. An all around absolute joy to experience this with. I recommend Delmarva Balloon Rides to anyone. The experience is not what you think and every thing you think all at the same time!!!
Wow!!! What a great experience! I have had this on my bucket list for many years and my friend finally facilitated it for me. She and her family came to join us from PA to experience one of the best trips ever! The owner and operator Todd, was professional and super experienced. He kept answering all our questions that we threw at him incessantly. When we asked to pitch in he allowed us the opportunity to do what we could to help. He took the time to check every detail with wind direction and weather conditions before we went up. It made us all feel very safe every step of the way. While we were up he patiently answered questions we threw at him and made it fun. After landing, we were treated to a champagne toast and were off to enjoy the rest of our day. Thank you so much for this once in a lifetime opportunity and experience. It was so worth every penny to do it. Thanks again Todd!!!!
Gosh- where to begin... Riding a hot air balloon has always been at the top of my bucket list and choosing to fly with Delmarva has helped my dreams become a reality. If you're reading reviews to compare ballooning companies, I strongly consider to stop looking and get in contact with Delmarva Balloon Rides. Words can't describe how pleased I am with the whole experience. Everything; from planning, setting up, landing and the flight itself. Todd, the pilot, was right there with me. He wanted to make sure that our flight was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible and I honestly don't think it couldn't have been any better. Prior to the flight, getting in contact with him was so easy. I had pretty much every question and or inquiry answered promptly and thoroughly within the first few days of booking! Not only is Todd an excellent, knowledged pilot (over 1000 hours of flight holy cow) but he's also fun, cool and very nice. A huge thanks to Todd, Brett and the Delmarva crew for everything. This is something I'll hold dearly for the rest of my life and an experience that I'll never forget!!
