Attempted to go to Rowher Flats on Easter but the gate was closed so ended up seeing this as the next closest OHV location around. It was pretty intimidating at first because some of the hills are really steep, rocky and rutted...actually most of them are, but it’s super fun and will definitely make you a better rider. I’m used to riding fairly flat desert terrain so this is a very nice switch up. Also, I’ve gone two weekends in a row now and haven’t seen anyone else on the trails the entire time I was riding.

I went there last week to do some dirt bike riding(Drinkwater Flats)for the first time 10/20/2020. It's a very small staging area and to enter the trails, you have to drive or ride across the street and climb a very steep hill to enter.(This is NOT the place to take the kids with a PW50). Because of how small the staging area was, I went to Rohwer Flats off of Bouquet Rd. I would recommend that anyone that goes to Drinkwater Flats to bring water, a bucket, and a back up plan..lol. Go to Rohwer, it's only 10 to15 min away.

Expansive trails. After heavy rains- expect closures as creeks become rivers and trails wash out

Went up there to star gaze. Nice and dark

Solid trails! Great views and 2WD (2- wheel drive) is acceptable on certain trails. Tread wisely. I enjoyed my experience. I began off roading about a mile away from this Geo tag. I continued driving up the mountain until I saw a bridge, which is shown in my photo. Which leads into the mountains! Enjoy! I am Chasing Trails on IG @JESSE_REBUILDS
