Once I found the building, everything was fantastic (Google Maps sent me on a scenic route) I was happily greeted and asked to sign in. The office is small (two rooms) yet comfortable. One room has desk and seating (socially distanced) the other has fingerprinting set up. I found this to be very professional operation with fantastic customer service.

I feel like I need a bleach bath. The guy who was working had to be super close to me and holding my hands (I guess that’s what you have to do), but he didn’t wear gloves OR A MASK! And this is in a tiny tiny room. I felt like I was gonna throw up. Please don’t go here. If he gets that close and personal with everyone then I’m worried for the germs he carries.

This was my second trip to FYI (as I went from temporary employee to county employee) and both visits were consistently pleasant. The office is tucked inside an old house in downtown Ellicott City, next to the old court house. The office is small, but efficient and the greeter very friendly. The wait time is very short, even with a few people ahead of you (it helps to check their website so you have the paperwork prepared correctly). The gentlemen who does the printing is very patient and has a calm demeanor - which I so appreciated! Fingerprining is pretty up close and personal, so having someone who respects that fact is a must. A plus for FYI.

If I could rate negative stars I would. Avoid at all cost. Especially if you need things done for the MMCC. Not only is it a pain just to find but I got my fingerprinting done in NOVEMBER- fast forward to JANUARY and the company never received the background reports they supposedly sent over. I went and asked for them to be resent and they STILL NEVER GOT THEM. Needless to say I’m extremely upset and wouldn’t even recommend this place to my worst enemy. I haven’t been able to work for nearly 2 months because of the carelessness and shortcomings of this god awful company and I hope they go out of business eventually.

If you have any error what so ever nobody from the physical location will answer or return your calls. You will get a 3rd party group that will take your number down for a returnable phone call that will not happen. If you live far I highly suggest you do not deal with these folks because if anything goes wrong you will have to drive back to resolve a simple problem a phone call could fix. Joseph Well needs further training and the third party phone receptionist suck!
