Hodges and Kiser took care of my Dad in 2009 and my Mom in 2021. Both experiences were excellent. They did a great job for us both times providing all we needed.

Losing our mother unexpectedly was hard for myself and my siblings. We could not believe how unprofessional the 2 person staff that we dealt with was . It took 3 phone calls to find out where my mom's body was (no one knew). They showed no sympathy for what we were going through. Donna made a mistake on my mom's birth-date on the death certificate and website which we caught pretty quickly. Donna and Bill never offered their condolences, Not even once. Bill didn't return phone calls. When I asked about bringing in a special box we purchased for my mom's ashes they seemed like it was an inconvenience to them and referred to our Heart box as some kind of box in an annoyed voice. Unfortunately the entire planning process felt like a sales pitch to us. Sad enough we picked up my mom's ashes, still no condolences or hope all goes well. This was the third time we used them and definitely the last. Expect no references!

Bill, Donna and Duane have been there to answer any questions. I appreciate the follow up call checking in on our family.
