Sure to be the worst review yet... On July 9th of this yr I was a patient being transferred to another facility by this ambulance company. Being that it was a long ride I decided to take a nap. I wake up to screeching tires, medical supplies flying everywhere, I heard screaming and I felt intense pain... We were flipping. When we stopped the things I seen, months and months later still gives me nightmares. It felt like I was dreaming because it was so unreal. I will never forget one of the most horrible experiences I've ever had in my entire life. Keep up the good work Amerimed EMS out of the Buford/Valdosta Ga area. Thank Sweet Jesus I'm Not Dead.. THAT THERE ... Is a real miracle from God. I am blessed beyond measure.

On my way home on 285 East by 78 merger, caught your driver driving recklessly. He cut off two other cars without signaling and bullied one car that was trying to merge onto 285. Interesting how a company that is meant to help people almost cause not 1, but 3 different accidents. Plate number OK2229 - #53

So, I see a lot of negative reviews about this company coming out of their GA operation. Things about old trucks and poor management. But in the Chattanooga operation I don't see ANY OF THAT. We are separate from the GA operation. They have their calls and we have ours. There is no crossing state lines. We are on the same radio frequency though and I DO hear them running a lot down there. Here in TN we work 12 hour shifts only with anywhere from a 3-5 average call volume. Sometimes a couple more, sometimes less. The transports are laid back and low key. No nursing homes, no dialysis. Pay is great from what I see. I actually got a 3.50 raise per hour from my last EMS job. And bounced checks? I highly doubt it. There is direct deposit anyway. We have four new box trucks. They are all 2018s, clean and well running. The two with the highest mileages are like 87k. I haven't seen any type of equipment shortages or malfunctions. Management seems to be chill and pretty much leaves you alone. So I don't know what is going on down in GA but if you're looking at this from Chattanooga, just know that it's actually a surprisingly good place to work (and I've been in EMS for 16 years and have worked for multiple agencies). This is one of the easiest EMS jobs you'll ever have.
