Excellent helpful Staff. Clean rooms to accommodate many price points. Well kept mansion directly across the street from MIA.

So happy we found this place! The house was built in 1910. We love old houses so we thought we would give it a try. The room we got has a private bathroom which was a must for us. The room was so beautiful and definitely beats the motel 8. Marble tile in bathroom, chandelier in the bedroom. No TV so we got to enjoy each other. Definitely recommend.

Okay I really wanted to give this place 3 stars but I just couldn't. The location is great. The first floor is gorgeous. The price is pretty good. DO NOT GET A PRIVATE ROOM! I had to wait an hour to check in. The room I got was in the basement, right next to the washer and dryer that could clearly be heard through the walls. I would describe aesthetic as halfway between a hospital and well my grandmother's basement honestly. There were two very small dark windows. There were random pipes sticking out of the walls. The floor was an off white tile that you usually find in bathrooms. No rug. The furniture would charitably be called vintage. I could not find a single outlet in room. The bathroom was nice. Even though I only stayed there for maybe 15 minutes they charged me for a night. They seemed nice, but I feel like they trying to get more out of this place than I had the space for. They should really just stop pretending that's a suitabile room.

They were helpful in getting me checked in at a weird time and when I had to check out early. Some may say "sketchy", I say artsy and affordable! I did enjoy paying a little more to have my own room. I did not travel with a towel, and they did not leave one in the room. Unfortunately, it was so late when I came, no one was able to get one for me! No shower for me... The bed was incredibly comfortable and checking out was easy. Would recommend.

Good separate rooms.

Nice staff. I really like working with Harrison. Having a bed downstairs required tolerance of the upstairs movements. Liked having key to lower and room plus code for entry into the hostel. Relatively clean and fresh linen whenever needed. Within walking distance to some pretty nice restaurant and stores. Park across the street was safe, clean across from museum. Nice Shakespeare play in the park, too. How cool. Oh and washer dryer went all day and into night. If you are in a downstairs room, you will need to develop more tolerance.

I did not have the best experience at this place the building is cool and the staff was pretty cool but other tenants kept taking my bed and then I will get assigned a new bed and then another one would take that bed. I also did not get new sheets when some slept in my bed. I suspect they have issues with prop getting in who did not pay.
