COVID-19 Notice  Summer 2020 Shop Schedule Monday 10:30 - 4:00 Tuesday Closed/Appointment Only Wednesday Noon - 5:00 Thursday 10:30 - 4:00 Friday 10:30 - 4:00 Saturday 10:30 - 4:00 Sunday Closed Due to a combination of unprecedented service volume, social distancing protocols, and staffing stability, Bikefix is amending its summer 2020 hours of public access. We are, however, available by appointment on Tuesdays, when the shop is closed to walk-up traffic, and for roughly 2 hours before the shop opens each day, and up to 4 hours after our amended closing times. As we enter Phase 4 of re-entry during COVID-19, we will continue to provide curbside greetings and exchanges in front of the shop – the front door will be locked, but we will see you. We are wearing masks when working with customers. Drop off service is generally available. Please feel free to call the shop, or email us, for current service intervals. Thank you for your support. Best bike shop I have ever been too. I have been to quite a few shops around the city, but no shop has compared to Bikefix in my experience. Their staff is A1. The absolute friendliest and most knowledgable crew I have ever met. Not once will you have to fear asking a question and be worried about looking dumb or not getting an answer. They will provide you with the knowledge you need to help you have a better ride and also actually care about the bikes they maintain. I do indeed plan on coming back soon and recommend them to everybody an anybody in need of a repair, a new bike, or who may have questions about getting into cycling.

Best bike shop I ever found. Technical know-how, top-notch repair skills, endless resourcefulness and free expert advice, for the asking. They care, they know their stuff and really seem to care about bikes much more than your wallet. We moved from Oak Park a few years back but I returned here for an important job because I've never found a better place. They're the best.

Curt was very patient in adjusting the bike my wife purchased so she was comfortable riding. Went back several weeks later and he swapped out a new stem (at no charge), again so she would be more comfortable. Very appreciative of that and would definitely recommend!

We needed two Surly LHT’s, one for my wife and one for me. Ended up buying actually three of them because my wife’s was stolen the day we bought it! No reflection whatsoever on Curt and his team. We would have bought 10 of them if we needed them. The guidance we received was impeccable and showed craftsmanship and love for the art of building a perfect bicycle. I own seven bikes for all kind of cycling, but my Surly disk LHT with Chris King components and custom build wheels is my favorite. Postponed the planned Lewis&Clark trail ride this year because of Covid but are looking forward to that ride next year.
