We called 15 minutes before closing & the owner said no worries, come we’ll wait for you. Food was really good. Lebanese chicken was seasoned really well. Mashed potatoes were good. Green beans were good. Everything was good man. Good establishment. Owner was cool. Keep it up!

Met a friend here during COVID-19, so we ate outside. I liked that fact that the restaurant was BYOB. I had the chicken lemon with a side of green beans and mashed potatoes and my friend had the salmon dish. We both really enjoyed our meals. I would consider this a healthier option for dining out. The location is right on Baltimore Ave so an easy met up between someone living in the city and someone living towards the Media area. I would definitely come here again. I enjoyed the laid back feeling of being at a restaurant on a summer day, drinking outside again:)

This place puts a new meaning to \hole in the wall\. The price was a little high but it was indeed a delicious take on a burger. The Napoleon Burger indeed requires a fork and knife to eat.

Where do I even start. Me & my boyfriend came last night & the service was terrible. To start we had two different severs & there was apparently a lack in communication. No utensils. They forgot my drink. My food took EXTREMELY LONG to come out. A group that came after us food came out first. My boyfriend ordered the lamb burger well done with NO parmesan cheese on his fries. When they finally came out it was drowned in cheese. His burger was literally BURNT. I ordered the salmon which was good. Just a little too sweet on the sauce. Portions was small for the price. The building was extremely cold. This is our first & last time dining at this establishment. I left annoyed & hungry.

Went for brunch. There are lots of similar options nearby. The restaurant was pretty much near capacity and they had three servers. Thankfully it's a small place so the food when it eventually came was to temperature, of decent proportions and tasty. You get the impression that everythung that should make Aksum stand out was purchased and not made there. The hummus tasted like Sabra's, the pita bread could have been from anywhere and the grape leaves were just okay. The other breakfast items were quite tasty and freshly made. I'm not sure if it's BYOB but the drinks would have been helped by alcohol. The menu said maple syrup and we got maple flavoured commercial stuff. The server wasn't sure but eventually fessed up. I have no issues with the lentils. Maybe not brunch. It could be better with more staff in better weather or a seasonal menu or fresher Mediterranean fare.
