A great trail to see a wide variety of landscapes. When you come from pioneer town up you’ll see desert landscapes and mountains with Joshua trees and old abandoned mine shafts. As you climb up the trail you see pines and in winter you’ll see snow and drive over snow if it snowed recently. Very scenic!

Really fun trail with great views. We went 3 days after a snow storm and got to play around in some snow towards the top.
Great trail road, can’t wait to camp here
