As a new pet owner, I went with the Vet that was suggested by the breeder. The 1st time I called to make an appointment to get my pup shots, I was met with a rude, demanding individual. Understanding that everyone has a bad day, I called back a few days later to try again. This time, I was not treated rudely but I also was not impressed, however, they were able to get me in that day. When I arrived, there was 1 woman behind the counter. She never made eye contact with me nor acknowledged my existence. After about 5 minutes, another gal came around the corner, she will be the 1 and only person that did impress me within this business. She was quick, friendly and helpful. After being put in a room, another gal came in to give my pup the shots. I never got so much as a name and I was made to feel like I was a burden. As she was giving the shots, I asked if she could take a look at my pups tail. She did so and said that she needed to get a Vet. A female Vet came in and after looking at it for a while, she said, "It looks like a bad bobbing." Then she looked at the assistant and said, "We didn't do this, did we?" I spoke up and said, yes I believe you did and mentioned the breeders name. The assistant then told her that yes, they had done it. The Vet went on to tell me to get some Vitamin E and Fish Oil. She was running out the door so fast that I didn't get any directions as far as dosage or how often. NOTHING. I paid and scheduled for the next round of shots but at this point I was very weary. When I got home, I talked with my husband about it. He decided to stop in personally to discuss our situation. He was told they were busy and would have someone call him. It has been over 48 hours and No word has been received. I have decided not to keep my appointment for the next set of shots and will never use their services again or refer them to anyone.

Dr. Meghan is an excellent Vet! Although she is new to Powell, she fits in very well at Powell Veterinary Services. She's professional & compassionate. I've taken my pets to her & have always received top-notch care. I would recommend her to anyone!

Family Stuff

One of the best vets we've ever had. Brian Neves did an excellent job with my daughters horse. Her horse hasn’t had human interaction for a few years. We had to arrange the visit from out of state and they managed that just fine. It didn’t take him long at all to get her updated on her shots and do a thorough wellness check. We had previously taken our dog to this vet when we lived in Powell. He was excellent with her as well. The office staff also was friendly and went above and beyond expectations. I highly recommend this place.
