This is truly a diamond in the rough. The rustic cabins have a feel of 1800's Maine, out in the wilderness among the tree industries. Moosehead lake is spectacular at all times of the year and the staff here makes you feel special and welcome.

I can’t decide if it is 1920, 1970 or 2021! This place has something to offer everyone. Such history and some key modern updates with out giving up the character and charm. Location is epic and 4 stop for our family or just my wife and I. Ski, fish, hike, swim, boat and the list goes on

Wonderful rustic log cabin right on the lakeside. We stayed 4 days and 3 nights and also rented one of their modern snowmobiles. Everything was perfect, from the cozy wood stove with unlimited wood supply to the prime rib dinner in the lodge, just as expected. A perfect ice fishing destination, We will definitely be back Scratch one off the bucket list!

Poorest customer service I have EVER experienced. Cabin 5 - Oven did NOT work, Toilet did NOT flush, Shower ran scalding hot to freezing cold with no control over it, monitor heater had to be worked on 3 times in 4 days. Owner Joe refused to give a discount. We tried to discuss with someone on the day of departure and was told no one was available. Next day called and was told "I'd never give a discount after you have checked out". what a horror show. Not to mention, cabin was full of mice and mouse poop. Stay away, the frustration outweighs the beautiful location. Fortunately, there are many other places to stay on Moosehead Lake.

Very cool place. A variety of cabins to rent stocked with firewood. The restaurant is real nice too with the bar. And the scenery. Man is that a beautiful place. The one time I went the Aurora was a 7 and we were able to see the northern lights over the lake. Man was that a sight to behold.
