Went looking for knives. Did research online, but wanted to get a feel for the knives before purchasing. Denise at the store was so helpful. I was able to hold and compare different brands. She made great recommendations. I didn't feel rushed or pressured. And now I have some new knives!
Many things to see, my husband bought an expensive knife. It was on sale. It had to be shipped which took a while however it was handmade in Japanese close to 3 weeks isn't awful. We will shop there again.

Prices a little high but what do you want for quality. Sales people always friendly and helpful. Even helped me with on line catalogue. Really enjoy shopping there.
Terrible expereience ! there website for canada isn't up to date, you order your things and you are getting emails back saying the order has been cancelled (happened to me twice). please spend the time (about 30min) to call the before ordering to confirm the inventory. Talking of inventory, I've used the online chat service confirming the article was in stock, and 15 min later on the phone telling me it is backorder... Also there automatic reimbursing system can glitch and then you'll get no and/or partially your money back. From there good luck! I'm trying for over a month now to have my money and still no luck! apparently it is in a grey zone in there system, but yet it is my money. be careful, good luck!

. I absolutely love this store, and like many other customers I'm sure wish I had a ton of money so I can shop there more often. I'm giving it three stars because I did purchase something recently once I got home I realized it was not what I wanted . So I brought it back the very next day with the receipt the Box all completely intact to return it . The customer service just wasn't there, I felt I was being judged for returning an item . He was being completely disrespectful , I just felt like he was looking down on me and I really wasn't happy about it . The Box wasn't tore up in the product wasn't even used . I also wasn't even returning it for cash I was going back on a gift card . I've worked in the mall I know a lot of people buy things and return things but they realize they can't afford , but this wasn't the case . And he could have maybe smiled or just talked a little instead of that when I told him I would like to return.
