Please do not waste your money at this property. They are extremely unprofessional. The staff is completely incompetent and they do not know how to do their job. They nickle and dime you for everything. They accused my daughter and her roommates of stealing a property sign and gave her no proof and tried to charge her and her roommates 75.00 each for the sign. After confronting them they dropped the charge. My daughter signed a 6 month lease (she was graduating college early) and at the end of the lease they tried to bill me an extra 900.00 and stated that the rent was 684.00 a month instead of 534.00 a month. It clearly stated in the lease and roommate addendum that was signed by my daughter, my husband as the guarantor and signed by the property manager that the 6 month lease was 534.00 per month. Please find another apartment complex, there are a lot in the Fayetteville area that do a much better job at managing their property. Also, they employ college students who know NOTHING when trying to get problems solved and when you ask to speak to a manager, the manager is NEVER on property. I assume they are hiding in a back office because they don't want to deal with the parents who are the guarantors and actually pay the bill!!!!! Horrible, disgusting place!!!!

Take a look at this pic. This will be your life if you choose to live at Frisco. This is what the trash room looks like for 4 days out of the week... it smells like a landfill and will seep into your room and the stench will keep you up at night. They're super nice to you until the minute you sign your lease, then they couldn't care less about you. Very poor craftsmanship regarding the building construction, results in constant maintenance requests. Honestly they need a full team of people just to keep up with the routine damage that occurs. Human and canine pee coats the floor and baseboards in the hallways and elevator waiting areas. If you like the smell of warm month old pee, garbage, and vomit- the Academy at Frisco is right for you.

This is my second year living at Frisco and it is the perfect apartment for college students! It has everything I need, perfect walking distance to nearly everywhere I need to go and their staff and maintenance workers are always available to help! I definitely recommend living here!!

Honestly, living here has been pretty bad. I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt but this place has been awful. From the outrageously high rents to the terrible garage and management. Firstly, the rent is high which can be warranted given its location. What isn’t warranted is the mediocre living conditions that you get with the rent. If you’re looking at Frisco or somewhere else, choose somewhere else. Second, the garage has an outrageous amount of speed bumps. Three before you even enter the garage and then one on every turn. Third, the management team is subpar at best. Packages that arrive are often in their back room for several hours before being handed over to residents. If you have a problem getting into the garage with your key fob you’re better off getting a criminal to copy the code rather than deal with the management because they’ll mess around with yours and then give it back. The picture attached is of one of our windows in the unit. The unit I pay a premium for, with a majority of the window covered by this. When the service crew came around, they didn’t clean it citing that it was “inside.” Well if that is so then the entire window should be replaced because it’s defective. The LEED certification relies on this being a well insulated building and holes in the glass risk that. This type of post shouldn’t be warranted but I highly doubt talking to management will get anywhere, so I decided to post it publicly, in hopes someone else doesn’t deal with what I have.
