Awesome drum instructor. Differentiates himself from the rest with his outstanding level of music theory and history. Always has tidbits and fun facts that he adds to my daughters lesson that keep her interest peaked. This combined with his incredible talent make him the best instructor I’ve ever met!

My son has really thrived since he started taking drum lessons with John. He has expressed more interest in playing and says that John makes learning fun. He also appreciates how detailed John is when explaining how to do something. John makes learning relevant, is flexible, and maintains open and pleasant communication between lessons. I highly recommend John Sayre Music!
John has been teaching my son for about 6 month now. Brendin really enjoys his lessons with John. Brendin has grown so much during this time and couldn't be happier with John.
My son has been taking lessons from John for over 2 1/2 years. He has been fantastic to work with - very professional while keeping things fun and interesting for him. John caters his lessons to work with my son on what he needs for band class as well as what he is interested in to keep things interesting and challenging. He posts additional lesson videos on Facebook so that my son can see a particular skill or song while practicing at home, which has been great. My son loves going to lessons every week, and I highly recommend John!
