The staff was helpful in providing suggestions and were friendly. There's a nice rooftop patio that they host get togethers with free beverages. The beach is just a step outside with many activities around the hotel. However, the place is dated.

We loved absolutely everything about this hotel! Great Location! Amazing Staff! Fully equipped kitchen. Chairs, toys, boogie boards, umbrellas avaliable for free. Can't wait to come back when it's warmer !

Only stayed one night at this really cool place. Location could not be any better. Staff was so super friendly and helpful and the room was perfect. The only reason there are only 4 stars is because the water pressure in the shower was almost nil. Everything else was perfect. Beware the elevator . . . this would require an "E" ticket from Disneyland. Really a trip and quite entertaining. If you are thinking of this place, I would book it. We'll be back!

Nice rooms. We had a perfect "1 bedroom studio" style room with a full kitchen. They also have larger ocean front suites available. Its a nice hotel that's right on the boardwalk in the heart of Venice Beach!

Great location. Historic building with character. Rooms are clean and as described. Staff are friendly and happy to have a chat, rooftop deck is awesome, plenty of seating and well maintained. Would highly recommend this hotel.

This little beachfront marvel is definitely a good choice. It's right at the beach and offers a very nice view from the rooftop terrace as well. Very friendly and helpful staff, great location. Little downsides are the bad parking situation and the cold water in the showers. However we enjoyed the visit very much and highly recommend it.

Love this historic hotel that is central to everything on Venice Beach! Very clean, great firm queen bed (pull out sofa bed should only be for young kids as it is not very sturdy). Bathroom is small but tub is big, and has a more modern feel, no mold or dirtiness at all. Water pressure is awesome, fridge works great and all appliances are awesome for a longer stay. This is a gem with the amazing views, I would only recommend the ocean view it is well worth the slight up charge! Staff is great, and u have anything u need just outside the doors.
