I think the Dr's need to set up and take notice and take what they have in the Ankeny office and try to modify the Altoona office. The Ankeny office has a 4.9 rating and the Altoona office 3.0 and after the last 2 visits to the Altoona office if the rating changes I project it will be going down. The office staff is so unprofessional and it feels like the staff only does what they have to when helping customers. I purchased glasses a year ago, did not really like the frames and office staff didn't seem to interested in helping me find what I wanted and then today wanted to see if could get same frames for my husbands glasses that he purchased in the Ankeny office a few years ago. I was told I would have to go to the Ankeny office. I expected the staff to say let us work with the Ankeny office and get back to you. Nope. I should have gone to the Ankeny office when I purchased my 400.00 frames a year ago and I might be wearing them instead of them still in the case sitting on my desk.

Dr and staff are really nice but they are extremely slow. If you have an appointment expect to be there for 1-2 hours just for an exam. They do not get in a hurry!

If you are looking for an eye care doctor, I would highly recommend Altoona EyeCare. Dr. Neighbors is the best. He is very thorough and very good about taking the time to be sure any & all my questions were answered. Their front desk staff are amazing as well, very friendly and eager to assist with scheduling appointments, answering questions, selecting & fitting glasses. Top Notch staff. Thank You.
Katy is nice but there is one gal at the front desk that is so rude.
