I realize that we have two things not going well right now: Covid and the winter weather. The two complaints I have are that managers do not check their voicemail to return calls and nurses/aides do not follow through to ensure that we can talk to our Mom. I spoke with Jody, the administrator about this and she assured me she would address these issues with the staff.

If there was an option for zero stars I would use it. Please do not send your loved ones here. The staff with the exception of a couple of nurses are not very unfriendly. Yes this matters when you are taking care of our elderly loved ones! I can only imagine how my mom was treated by the way I was. Aside from my mom catching Covid at this nursing home, some months afterwards she developed a severe gall bladder infection that spread to her blood and caused a stroke. Providing 24-7 care....how do you as a healthcare professional not notice something is wrong until she is unresponsive?? When the nurse called me to tell me my mom was being sent to the ER, she was so rude and sounded almost annoyed that I was asking so many questions. When she arrived at the hospital she so frail, practically skin and bones and had a really bad bed sore that the nurses there made a point to show us. I’m not a medical professional but the doctors there all agreed that the gall bladder infection would have been noticed earlier had she been receiving proper care. My mom almost died. She was in the hospital for weeks. She needed blood, oxygen, her lungs drained, had a tube draining from her gall bladder infection and feeding tube installed.

Absolutely Disgusting, the place was extremely dirty. They did not give my Grandmother bed sheets or blankets and there was old food on the floor. I’m surprised this place is still in business. They also refused to let her take naps, as well as threw her clothes in drawers without folding them. The staff is extremely rude as well. Extremely dissapointed.

My mother was in this facility following her stroke. The rehab team was very informative and worked diligently to get my mother the therapy she needed to be independent again. The staff is friendly, the location is convenient, and facility is very nice.

I had the mishap of going there for my broken hip about four years ago the service staff was so bad I checked myself out within two days. Now medical city of Arlington has sent my husband there to regain his strength because he suffered two falls did not break anything he is a fairly strong man for his age and he has been treated so poorly that I am going to checkHim out after two days. I would not recommend anyone to go there much less your elderly family there for nursing home
